Monica
M. Griffith, M.S.
SENIOR Associate
Monica M. Griffith’s career embodies 18 years of human resources
experience as a member of senior management, a hands-on professional, and
management consultant. She has worked in diverse business environments
ranging from high-tech to financial services to public administration. She
is former Vice President of the consulting firm, The Human Equation, Inc. in
South Florida and was a management consultant for Career Results in Central
Florida.
Consulting activities range from training management and staff on
critical legal and employee relations issues, coaching and counseling
diverse clients on day-to-day personnel issues, conducting workplace
investigations, developing management assessment processes, and writing
personnel polices and human resource tutorials.
Other consulting activities involved assessment of supervisory and
managerial candidates for major corporations such as General Motors and
Red Lobster. She is currently part of the consulting team of
L.J. Craig & Associates,
Inc., assisting with the creation and administration of
assessment center technology projects.
Ms. Griffith's extensive experience and expertise span across the
many facets of the human resource arena. These include employee
relations and communications, training and development, compensation and
benefits, recruitment and staffing strategies, equal employment and
employment law issues, human resource information systems, retirement
plan administration, policies and procedures, job
classification/evaluation systems, and performance management programs.
Ms. Griffith holds a B.A. Degree in Psychology and an M.S. Degree in
Industrial/ Organizational Psychology from the University of Central
Florida. She is a long-standing member of the Society of Human Resource
Management and former Board Member of the local chapter.
Monica has taught undergraduate courses at
Barry University. Her
class topics include Strategic Human Resource Administration,
Diversity in the Workplace and Labor Relations and Collective
Bargaining.
Ms. Griffith has published by-line articles on various human
resource-related topics and has been interviewed and quoted as a media
expert resource. She has also authored a sexual harassment self-training
manual for managers and supervisors.
Additionally, Ms. Griffith is a trained family mediator and a
certified arbitrator with the New York Stock Exchange and the National
Association of Security Dealers.
