Ethical Principles

bullet

We ensure the strictest and tightest test security possible; e.g., we set up procedures to preclude candidates from sharing information with others who have yet to participate in the process.

bullet

No one sees the actual written exams until after the examination is completed.

bullet

We do not use law enforcement personnel from local agencies to help us develop material and assist with administration of our processes (which reduces costs), who may later participate in the same process for their agency developed by the same consultant they worked with on previous processes.

bullet

We do not pre-train candidates to go through the exercises the day before the process.

bullet

We deliver candidate orientation sessions a few days before the process.

bullet

We are overly cautious about using role players for any exercises, if at all, due to problems associated with ensuring standardization of all candidates.

bullet

If we use role players we ensure that the same role player plays the role for all candidates and that role players are fully trained for that role.

bullet

We do not pre-determine the length of exercises or time frames for each project before the job analysis is done. However, we can estimate such time periods.

bullet

We do not artificially keep the price down by calling a process an Assessment Center when it does not conform to the Guidelines and Ethical Principles for Assessment Center Operations.
